MiniBench

MiniBench: Privacy Policy

Effective Date: May 30, 2026

1. Overview

MiniBench ("the App") is developed by iColasoft. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your information.

The short version: Your projects and content never leave your device. We collect a small amount of anonymous usage analytics to understand which features are used, never your personal information, never your content, and never anything used to track you across apps or websites.

2. Data Collection

2.1 Personal Information

MiniBench does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. We do not require account creation, login, or any form of user registration. We do not collect your name, email, contacts, location, photos, or any device identifier that identifies you.

2.2 Usage Analytics

MiniBench collects anonymous usage analytics to help us understand how the App is used and prioritize improvements. This is handled by Google Firebase Analytics (a Google service).

What we log are coarse, anonymous product events with categorical parameters only. For example: app opened; a project created, opened, exported, or duplicated; an editor or file type opened; a snippet or completion used; a paywall viewed; an icon pack or subscription purchase initiated, completed, restored, or failed. Parameters are limited to non-identifying categories such as pack type, template name, export format, file type, and icon-pack identifier.

We do not log your name, the contents of your projects or files, file paths, search text, free-form input, or any value that identifies you personally. The analytics data is not linked to your identity and is not used to track you across other apps or websites (no IDFA / advertising tracking, no ad networks).

Firebase Analytics is the only analytics SDK in the App, and it is confined to a single module. For information on how Google processes data collected via Firebase, see Google's Privacy Policy and Firebase's data practices.

2.3 Content You Create

All content you create in MiniBench, including projects, JSON files, .mcfunction files, textures, and exported packs, is stored locally on your device (or in your own iCloud Drive container if you enable iCloud storage). We never access, read, upload, or process your content, and your content is never included in analytics.

2.4 Crash & Diagnostic Data

We do not operate a separate crash-reporting service. If you have opted into sharing diagnostics with Apple in your device settings, Apple may share anonymized crash reports with us through App Store Connect. Firebase Analytics may also collect basic, anonymous diagnostic information (such as app version and coarse device model) as part of standard event logging. None of this contains personally identifiable information.

3. Third-Party Services

3.1 Apple StoreKit

MiniBench uses Apple's StoreKit framework to process in-app purchases (icon packs) and the optional Pro subscription. All payment processing is handled by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID. For information on how Apple handles your payment data, see Apple's Privacy Policy.

3.2 Google Firebase Analytics

MiniBench uses Google Firebase Analytics for the anonymous usage analytics described in Section 2.2. This is the only third-party analytics or telemetry service the App integrates.

3.3 No Other Third Parties

MiniBench does not integrate with any advertising networks, social media platforms, data brokers, or other third-party services beyond those named above.

4. Data Storage

All app data is stored locally on your device within the app's sandbox. This includes:

MiniBench supports iOS Files app integration, allowing you to access your project files through the Files app. This is a local-only feature and does not involve any cloud upload by the App.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for their own purposes. The only data leaving your device is the anonymous usage analytics described in Section 2.2, processed by Google Firebase on our behalf. We do not share your personal information (we don't collect any) or your content.

6. Children's Privacy

MiniBench does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). The anonymous usage analytics we collect (Section 2.2) are not personal information and are not used to identify or track any user, including children.

7. Your Rights

We do not collect personal data, so there is no personal data to access, correct, delete, or port. The anonymous usage analytics are not linked to your identity and cannot be tied back to you. If you wish to remove all app data from your device, simply delete the App.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
